Jenny McCarthy's (Very) Defined Lowlights: Love 'Em or Leave 'Em

The brunette/blonde hair divide is getting less sharply defined than ever. We’ve moved on from blonde streaks into outrageous ombré followed by reverse skunk — and now we’ve come full circle for the photo-negative version of blonde streaks: Jenny McCarthy‘s thin brunette lowlights.

RELATED PHOTOS: Six hair trends you should definitely try!

The newly-engaged View host has had the dark streaks for a while now, but they were harder to detect when her hair was up or straightened (as it often is). But when her hair is curled, as it was at last night’s send-off, the super-defined, super-streaky brown highlights (lowlights?) become extremely apparent — to the point where we wondered if they were inexpensive clip-in extensions. And that’s never a reaction you want to a hair look you paid good money for.

Do you love the way the darker strands define her curls? Do you think this look is better left in the ’90s? Debate in the comments.
