“I’ve always been a sneaker-head,” the musician, 26, tells People, adding that he has, “like, a thousand [pairs], maybe? I don’t wear shoes that many times. And I just love all kinds of shoes.”

While Derulo has quite the personal collection of kicks, he’ll soon be giving those away — “anyone who wears a size 10 is gonna be lucky!” he quips — because the “If It Ain’t Love” singer is making a foray into fashion, launching a shoe line with LVL XIII in collaboration with designer Antonio Brown.
“I’m gonna be wearing LVL XIII, like, up the wazoo, so all the other brands that I have, I’m not gonna be wearing them anymore, so I’m gonna give them all away,” says Derulo, who is also the new face of the brand.
Derulo had already been a fan of Brown’s work when they got in touch to join forces on the brand (pronounced “level thirteen”).
“I always really wanted to have my own line, be able to utilize all the ideas and knowledge that I’ve garnered over the years. This was a perfect opportunity because I was a fan of what Antonio has done in the past,” says Derulo. “Now we get to take both of our heads and put ’em together and create something I believe will change the face of footwear forever.”
