Not content with a real estate empire, a TV gig on The Celebrity Apprentice and a successful eponymous jewelry collection, the hardworking heiress in the business is adding shoe designer to her busy schedule. The newlywed has inked a deal with Marc Fisher Footwear to create a contemporary footwear line, reports WWD. “We saw Ivanka’s iconic style as an opportunity to fill a niche in the footwear business,” Marc Fisher President Susan Itzkowitz tellsWWD. “When we met, we realized our visions were one and the same and the partnership was formed.” And the feeling was mutual. “I knew immediately that we would be able to successfully collaborate together and that he could execute our vision in accordance with my design aesthetic,” Ivanka says. “I am confident that our partnership will produce the type of quality and high style product that will appeal to many.” And while more details on Ivanka’s footwear line have yet to be released, the heiress is already looking into licensing options for apparel and accessories.
