Many PEOPLE StyleWatch editors have a “one that got away” — when it comes to celeb clothing, that is. Whether it was that amazing pair of shoes that we couldn’t get in our size or the dress that sold out the minute Kate wore it, we have fond, hazy memories of certain pieces we let slip away.
Now The Outnet is giving us one more reason to love it, bringing back 17 distinctive designer pieces that we’ve missed since they were relegated to the archives. In honor of the site’s fifth birthday, many top designers volunteered to reissue their best-selling items to Outnet customers — great news for anyone who has had something bookmarked since 2009.
In fact, three pieces were signatures of the celebs that wore them the first time around. Nicole Richie got tons of mileage out of this Issa kimono dress (which apparently was so missed, it sold out in hours). Victoria Beckham practically lived in these Chloe wedges, wearing them to tote around baby Harper without ever breaking a sweat. And the Alexander McQueen clutch beloved by Naomi Campbell and Audrina Patridge is also back and on sale for $535.
Prices for the Outnet’s exclusive birthday collection are about what you would expect for limited edition designer items, starting at $124 for an Equpiment top and going up to $988 for a leather jacket. But if you’re not willing to see the piece of your dreams slip through your fingers again, perhaps no price is too high. Check out the whole collection, modeled by Chanel Iman, here, then tell us: Are any of these pieces on your wish list? What’s your lusted-after designer item?
