Get the recipe! Her’s Tea & Sympathy
The sleek new restaurant where Joaquin Phoenix takes in this Best Picture nominee may not exist yet (the movie is set in future L.A.), but ink. by Top Chef alum Michael Voltaggio shares the same minimalistic look and modern vibe. Bartender Gaby Mlynarcyzk created this tea-flavored spin on a Moscow Mule for PEOPLE after noticing how often Phoenix’s character drinks tea in the film.

Get the recipe! American Hustle’s Icy Hot Whiskey Martini
Nobody’s rocking leisure suits anymore, but the casinos of Atlantic City – where donned some horrific late ’70s attire in this Best Picture nominee – are still serving up plenty of style. Old Homestead Steakhouse at A.C.’s Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa whipped up this cocktail for PEOPLE, calling it “a tribute to the brazen schemes and ravenous greed of the characters.” The con job starts with the drink’s initial sweetness. “By the time you realize it’s spicy and hot, it’s too late.”

Get the recipe! Gravity’s The Space Between
Kings Bowl in Boston made headlines last year for its gravity-defying cheeseburger (chefs tied it to a weather balloon and sent it 90,000 feet into the air). To make a cocktail for this Best Picture nominee, bartenders there took the gravity concept literally, using “light” liquids that would float above “heavier” (more dense) ones. “Instead of going with a dark cocktail, we wanted to represent the incredible colors found in space,” the bartenders add. “It tastes pretty good, too!”

THE WOLF OF WALL STREET
Get the recipes! The Wolf of Wall Street’s Cocktail Trio
Naturally, the Andaz Wall Street Hotel in N.Y.C. couldn’t let this Best Picture nominee come to pass without creating a few drinks in its honor, including one named after the hour the New York Stock Exchange bell rings to end the trading day. Order any of these at the hotel’s Bar Seven Five through March 4, or mix your own with a few simple ingredients.

Get the recipe! Frozen’s Olaf’s Dream
Younger fans of the Disney flick, nominated for Best Animated Feature, can slurp up this mocktail from Minus5 Ice Bar in Las Vegas, where even the glasses are made out of ice. Brrr! The drink’s summery ingredients are a nod to snowman sidekick Olaf’s hysterical number about his dream to frolic in the summer sun.

DESPICABLE ME 2
Get the recipe! Despicable Me 2’s PX-41 Blueberry Lemonade
Go bananas! If you’re a fan of the Minions in this Best Animated Feature nominee, you know they love the tropical fruit. (Check out their song about it here.) With that in mind, The Banana Tree Grille in St. Thomas mixed up this Minion-friendly (and kid-friendly) drink. Adults can spike it with blueberry vodka. Go the extra mile and serve this sweet sipper out of these Minion mugs, easily made with disposable yellow cups, a pack of googly eyes and a marker.
