Recently, Heidi Klum hopped aboard an ice cream truck filled with underwear from her lingerie line Heidi Klum Intimates — and we went with her! While parked outside Macy’s in N.Y.C., we chatted with the model, 43, all about her love of lingerie, her love of dancing in her underwear and her love life past and present for our “5 Questions” video series (watch the clip above).
When it comes to lingerie, the former Victoria’s Secret model and founder of her own line, is absolutely obsessed with collecting beautiful bras. “I collected so many,” she says. “I also love to shop. So whenever I’m out and about, traveling the world, I go to small boutique shops and there you find small brands that none of the big stores really carry, and I find really unique and cool little things.”
And she says she’s done almost everything to show her passion for lingerie — including dancing in her skivvies. “The last time I danced in my underwear is probably when I did the commercial for Macy’s,” she says. “You have to be really confident to dance in your lingerie. It’s one thing to walk around in your lingerie, but when you’re dancing and everything is moving about, it’s a little bit intimidating.”
Though, she has yet to learn any tricks, she confessed. “Can I take my bra off with one hand? Probably not. No, guys know how to do that. I mean, I could. If I had to, I could. I go straps down, turn around.”
One thing she loves as much as lingerie — love itself. “I’m definitely someone who loves life and I love love,” she says. Musician Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers recently said that his relationship with Klum was “one of the most beautiful memories of his life.” When Klum found out, she says she was flattered. “Obviously, it’s very nice when you still get along with your ex in a way or someone you have dated in the past,” she says. “And you know, we had a very special time together. I never really thought that anyone knew anything about that. It’s funny that he brings it up after so many years.”

As for current boyfriend Vito Schnabel, 29, she’s thrilled with their relationship. “I love being in love, like when you have butterflies in your stomach and when you feel great. I celebrate all the romance — I’m quite old-fashioned that way. I don’t know, I love enjoying life and celebrating the love and being happy.”
Does that mean she’ll consider walking down the aisle again? Not necessarily. “I’ve done it twice and it didn’t really work out for me, so why hurt something when it’s all good the way it is,” she says. “I like it the way things are right now.”
