The women’s fragrance, which will pre-launch in August before a global roll-out in September, is inspired by the sensuality and elegance of the classic little black dress, according to WWD. Paltrow’s personal style certainly fits that bill: “[She’s] the perfect complement to Boss Fragrances,” Hugo Boss Fragrance global marketing director, Gerd Von Podewils, tells WWD.
“I was honored and very happy to be chosen as the face of Boss Nuit Pour Femme,” Paltrow adds. “To me, the Boss woman is driven, ambitious and goes after what she wants, but she balances being strong and very feminine at the same time — characteristics that I strive towards in my own life.”
Paltrow — who attended the Met Gala Monday — is currently in London promoting the fragrance.
