Gigi Hadid is starting off Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on the right foot — and even drawing some non-fashion fans into the fold.
Hadid’s stepfather, David Foster, Instagramed a supportive message for one of his two supermodel step-daughters on Sunday, revealing that she had drawn him to his “first fashion show.”
“My first fashion show ever!!! Starting at the top with this one @gigihadid leading the pack!!! It was amazing and so was she!!!#proudstepdad #versace,” the music producer wrote about his 20-year-old step-daughter alongside a picture of her strutting her stuff.
Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Foster, also shared her support for her daughter on Instagram, sharing photos of the young model walking the runway.
“Gigi on the runway for@versace_official Haute Couture in Paris…….#ProudMommy#WatchingFromAfar #Paris #PFW@donatella_versace,” the former model wrote.
Hadid wasn’t the only model superstar taking over the runway. Irina Shayk, Joan Smalls and Stella Maxwell also walked the show on Sunday.
And worry not, Hadid fans — Hadid’s little sister Bella is also in Paris to take part in the fashion show fun, as evidenced by the sisters’ Snapchats.
Paris’ Haute Couture shows will run through Thursday, Jan. 28. The sisters’ fashion month is just getting started, however, as New York Fashion Week will kick off on Thursday, Feb. 11.
