Ghostbusters star Melissa McCarthy has said that she doesn’t play it safe when it comes to her style. “I’m a mom with two kids — and I wear leather pants and cheetah print and all kinds of crazy stuff,” the actress told People in the 2015 Style Issue. If her recent string of outfits is any indication, McCarthy sure does have a penchant for patterns! “Clothing has that remarkable ability to make us feel good about ourselves,” she said. “It should show off your personality!”
On June 17, McCarthy wore a multicolor zig-zag print skirt that hit just below the knee with a light pink blouse for an appearance on BBC 2 Radio in London. She accessorized this feminine look with beige ankle-tie heels, a delicate Tulah Jem lariat necklace and dainty Anne Sisteron rings.
The day before, on June 14, she attended Sony’s Marina Bay Sands Art OutReach Benefit in Singapore with Ron Howard and Ghostbusters director Paul Feig clad in a dress from her own line, Melissa McCarthy Seven7(below). Described as the “button pleat floral dress,” the polyester piece is covered in what appears to be a peony pattern and has contrasting black piping and a black collar. You can get your hands on this same dress for just $129 on her site! [Editor’s note: The one on the site looks a little darker than Melissa’s version, so check to confirm the colors before you buy.]

At the Ghostbusters premiere in Singapore on June 12, McCarthy wore a flowing chiffon watercolor floral gown custom-made by designer Judy B. Schwartz, who has collaborated with the star on red carpet looks for years.
McCarthy is also no stranger to standout jumpsuits — she wore a floral one from Melissa McCarthy Seven7 to The Boss premiere in March — but this mod striped version (worn on Jimmy Kimmel Live on with co-stars Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon on June 9) is bold even though the colors are neutral.
Of course, even though McCarthy has been stepping out in a ton of prints recently, she’s also stunning in solids.
