Exclusive: Barbie Created a Moschino Collector Doll (and You Can Buy the Pieces for Yourself)

Posted on

Barbie has the most coveted closet in the world (sorry, Kylie Jenner) and now it’s getting a little bit edgier with the new Moschino collector’s edition Barbie. And if you’ve always had a lifelong dream of borrowing a life size Barbie’s clothes (we blame Tyra Banks for that), there’s good news! You can shop a full-size ready-to-wear capsule collection of the same pieces (which are all, naturally, Moschino hero items).

Both collector’s dolls are decked to the nines in Moschino originals, including a slogan T-shirt, logo-trimmed mesh leggings and quilted leather bomber, with a plethora of branded accessories, including mismatched earrings, layered necklaces and a gold chain Moschino-emblazoned belt. As it turns out, it was Barbie who lead him to become a designer in the first place. “The thing I love about Barbie is that she is the ultimate muse and inspired me to become a designer,” says Scott. “Moschino style is all about humor coupled with high fashion and Barbie allows us to play out these looks in whole new way.”
