Honor: Comedy Star of the Year
Hart has been owning stages across the country with his stand-up shows, but it’s his roles on the big screen that have made him a household name. Basically, if this guy is on a cast list, you can guarantee you’ll be laughing out loud in the theater. That was the case for About Last Night, and it’s certainly true for his latest movie, Chris Rock’s Top Five.

Honor: Television Performance of the Year (Actress)
Just call her the Comeback kid. After 10 years on a little show called Friends, Kudrow starred in The Comeback, which gained a cult following, but was canceled after one season. Nine years later, it made a, well, comeback, returning to HBO this past November. (She’s also simultaneously killing it on Showtimes’s Web Therapy.)

CHLOË GRACE MORETZ
Honor: Next Generation Star
We’d toast Moretz’s impressive talents – from Kick-Ass to If I Stay, not to mention nabbing a spot on our Best Dressed list – but the on-the-rise 17-year-old actress is still too young to drink. Why we can’t wait to see what she does next: She’s not daunted by challenging roles, telling TIME, “Acting for me is not just being happy-go-lucky. That’s my real life. Acting for me is doing the opposite of who I am.”

She makes movie magic – hello, Almost Famous and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days – and her red carpet know-how consistently puts her at the top of our best-dressed lists. Honor: PEOPLE’s Sexiest Woman
Is it hot in here, or are we just looking at the model in her PMAs red carpet ensemble? Of course, we’ve seen Upton wearing, ahem, considerably less clothing – namely when she landed on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue not once, but twice in a row (2012 and 2013). Just as sexy: her instant-viral take on The Rej3ctz’s Cat Daddy dance, which racked up more than 21 million views and motivated us to make it to spin class.

Honor: Movie Performance of the Year (Actress)
This might be the year adds a very shiny trophy to her collection: The actress is currently baiting Oscar buzz for her dramatic turn on the big screen portraying a car-crash survivor in Cake. “It ticked all the boxes that an actor dreams of,” she says of the role (humbly adding that she’s reacting to the attention “awkwardly and stutteringly,” in typical Aniston fashion). It’s hard not to root for America’s sweetheart, whom we first fell in love with two decades (and many, many must-watch romantic-comedies) ago on Friends.

Honor: Style Icon
rock star wardrobe isn’t the only reason we love her – her hits with No Doubt and her solo endeavors have a permanent spot on our favorite playlists – but it is why we’re wearing red lipstick and leather joggers right now. Her surprising style icon? Her eighth-grade self! “I was into ska music, James Dean and the Latino culture in my Southern California neighborhood. As a result, I tried to dress outside the box,” she said earlier this month. “More than 30 years later, that’s still my look.”

Frankly, we feel the same way about the The Mindy Project’s resident romantics as they feel about each other. Honor: Triple Threat
What can’t do? If you’ve seen her music video for “Booty” you know the answer: be predictable, which goes against Lopez’s talent for evolving her career and takin’ names. That’s why her résumé is the one to beat, spanning from her judging gig on American Idol to her new memoir to, of course, her enviable dance floor moves.

Honor: Movie Performance of the Year (Actor)
Keaton has established his stake in this year’s Best Actor race in Birdman, in which he plays a washed-up actor once famous for portraying the film’s titular superhero. Consider it the perfect follow-up to his most iconic role: Batman.
