Eva Longoria may have a personal glam team to get her red carpet-ready, including her hairstylist and BFF Ken Paves, but lately, she’s taking makeup into her own hands. The 41-year-old actress showed off her beauty skills at an event earlier this week.
For the Ninth Annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic in Burbank, California, on Monday, the actress went for a pretty pink makeup look, which she did herself, according to Paves, to match her sleeveless A-line mini (which is actually a piece from her new eponymous collection for The Limited!).
Longoria, who is a longtime brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris, opted for a monochromatic makeup look including a shimmery pink smoky eye, flushed cheeks and a gorgeous rose to pink ombré lip. And now we’re dying to know: Why hasn’t she been doing her makeup from the beginning? She’s that good.

As for her hair, Longoria left her long tresses in the hands of a pro (Paves), who gave the star a voluminous blowout with tousled waves.
Longoria isn’t the only star who has dabbled in the art of red carpet makeup. Fellow celebs including, Lauren Conrad, Zendaya and Ashley Tisdale have all opted out of getting ready with a pro and put their contouring skills to the test for the cameras.
Perhaps this signals a new DIY trend among the stars, or maybe celebrity makeup artists are just too busy now.
What do you think of Eva’s makeup look? Do you love that she did her own red carpet glam?
