Erin Andrews is a woman of many talents. Though her day job consists of reporting from the sidelines of major sporting events, after hours she’s stepped into a more sparkly position, hosting the hugely popular reality TV show Dancing with the Stars in one show-stopping gown after the next, (and chronicling the entire process every Monday exclusively for PeopleStyle). But on Monday she revealed she’s about to take on yet another role of a lifetime, showing off her new engagement ring from fiancé Jarret Stoll – then on Thursday she followed up with the sweet shot from the “magical evening” he proposed at Disneyland’s exclusive Club 33.
The DWTS host was accosted by paparazzi while landing at the L.A. airport, and it was hard for him to miss that giant ring (which appears to be a large cushion-cut stone on a slender band) on her left hand. After playing coy the first time the photographer asked her about the new jewelry, the Fox Sports reporter finally confirmed that, yes, she and her professional hockey player boyfriend are set to wed. She added that, while she’s not ready to discuss the details of his proposal and they have no wedding plans so far, she wouldn’t be opposed to the whole affair being catered by Dunkin’ Donuts.
Of course, this announcement comes hot on the heels of a whole lot of hints from Andrews, starting when on Thursday she shared a photo of the weather report at the NFL game she was going to work, captioning it, “This weather at Lambeau is really going to put a damper on my ring game,” and tagging her boyfriend Stoll.
She also fueled rumors on Twitter the same day, sending hearts and kissy face emojis to friends tweeting to ask if the news was true:
And finally, her former DWTS partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy more or less spilled the beans on Friday during an appearance on FOX 5 TV in Las Vegas where he said, “I had an amazing time with Erin Andrews, who I think maybe just got engaged and maybe I’m breaking the news, I’m not sure. She also kinda, maybe broke the news of us being pregnant, so maybe that’s returning the favor over here.” A word of advice to Andrews as she progresses with her wedding day plans: if you want to keep a nuptial secret, Chmerkovskiy’s probably not your man.
