Emma Roberts's Jimmy Choo 'Photo Diary' Is Here - Check Out the Pics!

Posted on

If your ideal day goes something like “play dress up with a bunch of great clothes and accessories in chic locations and get photographed doing it,” you’re about to be pretty jealous of Emma Roberts. The actress, 23, got to do just that for Jimmy Choo, picking a few favorite pieces from the brand’s fall/winter collection to pose with. She also shared some of her deep thoughts on fashion and beauty — and assured American Horror Story fans that she will not be playing the bearded lady in the show’s upcoming “Freak Show”-set fourth season. Read on for all the scoop …

Of course, many of the questions Roberts answered for her Choo-and-A (get it?) were about shoes. Whose shoes would she like to walk in? “Stevie Nicks. I worship her style and her music.” If she were a pair of shoes, what would she be? “A classic Jimmy Choo pointed toe pump. I remember … thinking how I couldn’t wait to get older and get my hands on a pair! Now I have a pair in red snakeskin with my initials embossed on them. The young me is jumping up and down over this!” Flats or heels? “I used to be an all heels all the time girl because I was self-conscious about being 5-ft-2-in. Now I embrace it and pretty much live in boots and flats and high tops.”

We also discovered that she shares a favorite philosopher with Blake Lively, gets style inspiration from stars from Jane Birkin to the Spice Girls and that she’d live in either the ’60s or 1991 if she could.

Roberts, who travels a ton for work (next vacation: a road trip to Nashville with her girlfriends), also shares her thoughts on luggage (“My long haul travel essentials are my TemperPedic Cloud pillow … I am the biggest overpacker, so I’m not one to ask for packing tips!”) and her favorite shoes in the collection (see ’em above at right).

Perhaps our favorite advice from Roberts’s shoe diary? Her laid-back take on trying trends. “I think it’s hard to pick a fashion regret because you never know at the time that you’ll be regretting it! Trends are what make fashion fun, so I say go with them and laugh at the pictures later! I’m sure when I’m older my kids are gonna be laughing their butts off that we all were rocking the crop top.”

What do you think of the photos? Any favorite looks?
