So nice, she wore it … thrice? Keira Knightley appears to be getting even more use out of the powder pink Chanel Haute Couture dress she last wore to her wedding in May.
The actress made an appearance at the Serious Fun gala in London Tuesday night, sporting what looked to be the same pretty dress Karl Lagerfeld made just for her — which was last seen on the star as she skipped through the streets of Marzan, France wearing custom Chanel bridal flats. Her gala dress had the same tiered, ruched bodice and ballet-inspired pink tulle skirt, though there was one noticeable difference: underneath the dress, she wore a whisper-thin sheer long-sleeved shirt with delicate leaf embroidery around the neckline and wrists. And true to Knightley’s quirky style, pale screenprint cameo portraits could be spotted among the embroidered leaves.
This is the third iteration of Knightley’s wedding look — she first wore the dress to a pre-BAFTA bash in 2008 — which makes this the most haute I Really Love My … of all time. And we have to say, we love that she isn’t keeping her favorite dress wrapped in tissue in a closet somewhere.
Are you impressed by Knightley’s wedding dress re-wear? Have any of you been able to wear a wedding dress (or a bridesmaid dress, for that matter!) again?
