We can always count on Carrie Underwood for a major mini moment on the red carpet. (After all, her leg muscles deserve to be seen.) And true to form, the singer delivered in a super-short, crystal-covered design with a fringe skirt at the 2017 CMT Awards on Wednesday.
The blinged out Elie Madi mini was befitting of a country queen and she piled on the sparkle with diamond drop earrings, a ton of rings, the Atelier Swarovski “Marina” clutch in silver, and metallic sandals.
And with a dress that glitters from all angles, it’s important to show off the back. Underwood opted for an edgy knotted mohawk updo to complete her look.

When Underwood is not busy killing it on the red carpet and on the stage, she’s at the ice rink supporting hockey player husband Mike Fisher and the Nashville Predators who are currently vying for the Stanley Cup in the NHL finals.
In fact, the country superstar managed to fit in a shoutout to the team during her acceptance speech for female video of the year for “Church Bells.”
“Thank you God for so many incredible blessings,” she said. “Me and my husband… there’s a lot going on in our lives. We are so thankful and so blessed.”
“Go. Preds!” she said.
And she makes sure to wear her support in the stands , always decked in Predators gear from her hat down to her manicure.
