Braids You'll Want to Copy Courtesy of Blake Lively, Diane Kruger and Hailey Baldwin

Posted on

You’ve already seen the gorgeous gowns and dazzling jewels that hit the red carpet at Wednesday evening’s amfAR New York Gala in N.Y.C., but now it’s time to take a closer look at these intricate (and amazing!) hairstyles — from the back — to try out this weekend.

The queen of all Hair Blake Lively added some excitement to her typically gorgeous beachy waves with a little help from celebrity hairstylist Rod Ortega. The do held two secret braids woven into her soft glam waves. Even cooler? Ortega added bobby pins into the look (yes, they were totally visible!) for a fun, unexpected visual effect. If you’re already making braids at your desk, we can’t say we blame you.

You already know all about Diane Kruger’s dark new do, but what we failed to bring to your attention is the incredibly intricate updo she wore the new hue in!

The back-braided hairstyle, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Giannandrea, appears to be a series of twisted plaits from the nape of the neck gathered into a bun and secured with pins. The hair guru finished the center-parted look with a few wispy face-framing pieces for effect.

And lastly, Hailey Baldwin hit the red carpet in a dazzling long-sleeve Pamella Roland dress, which she complemented with an extra-sultry smoky eye. While the gown is gorgeous, we can’t help but be more delighted by the 19-year-old’s single French plait — very model off duty on duty.
