He’s got his reality show, his Kate Spade New York styling gig and now a fashionable new book,
Born to Be Brad
. So it must be asked: Is stylist Brad Goreski looking to add “designer” to his resume anytime soon, too?
“I think that would be a different path for me,” he told PEOPLE Monday night at his Tommy Hilfiger and Details-sponsored book launch in N.Y.C. “It doesn’t really seem, at this moment, something that I am really, really passionate about. There are just so many other things going on.”
Those other things — aside from writing and letting cameras follow his every move — include styling A-list clients like Jessica Alba. “I still love … [her] at the Golden Globes,” he said when asked about his favorite recent red carpet moment. (The actress wore a lilac Gucci dress, Roger Vivier clutch and Bulgari jewels to the show.) “I still watch the YouTube video of her walking on the stage so I can see the dress shimmer. She looked so beautiful.”
Moments like those are what keep the stylist enamored with his job. “I feel very lucky because I get to work in so many different areas of fashion,” he shared. “But I think [my favorite memories are] walking a client to their car when they are on their way to a big awards show, and seeing them in their gown, feeling amazing and excited to go to the event. I always remember those moments.”
