Have you dreamed of dressing like the Divine Miss M — or maybe just owning a little piece of her amazing wardrobe? Following in the footsteps of the Elizabeth Taylor estate, singer Bette Midler is auctioning off dozens of pieces from her iconic wardrobe in November, with proceeds to benefit the New York Restoration Project.

Highlights of the auction include the famed mermaid dress, which Midler wore during her recent run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Las Vegas (left); a black-and-white Valentino creation she wore to an event celebrating the designer in New York in 1992 (center); and a showgirl costume, also worn during her Vegas performances (right).

Other items include stage costumes designed by Bob Mackie, vintage Emilio Pucci, costumes featured on record covers and in her films, plus headdresses, stage sets, sketches, gold records, art, jewelry and treasures from her personal collection.

The auction takes place at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills on Nov. 12; the collection itself will be on display for the public there beginning on Oct. 31. Midler’s items are expected to rake in thousands for the New York Restoration Project, an organization she founded in 1995 that helps beautify N.Y.C.’s parks and open spaces.
