After three years spent with nary a new hit song let alone a red carpet appearance, 2016 has been the gift to the Bey-hive that keeps on giving and giving. After debuting her groundbreaking visual album Lemonade at the end of April, it seems like Beyoncé has been on a non-stop press tour making appearances at a wide array of award shows, including Wednesday night’s Country Music Awards where she performed her song “Daddy Lessons” with the Dixie Chicks and wore two show-stopping gowns in true Queen B fashion.
However, even eagle-eyed viewers of the CMAs last night probably didn’t catch a glimpse of the pop star’s first red carpet look, an ornately embellished Zuhair Murad gown which she paired with Lorraine Schwartz diamond pear-shaped drop earrings. It seems that Beyoncé actually skipped walking the red carpet with everyone else, showing up a little later with a personal photographer in tow to have for her own private photo shoot in front of the CMA step and repeat, an act truly befitting of her royal status. For her solo red carpet appearance, the singer wore a dress featuring all over 3D floral embellishment in pastel shades with a low back, a slight train, and the Antebellum puff shoulder sleeve that has become her new style signature.
But if her first look went by without so much as a mention, her second performance look was impossible to miss.

Beyoncé joined the Dixie Chicks on stage for a joint rendition of her country-inspired song “Daddy Lessons,” wearing a sea-foam green sheer illusion gown, covered in thousands of beads that created a mesh-like pattern, complete with a deep keyhole neckline and that same oversize mutton-chop sleeve silhouette. She gave her gown an extra dose of glitz thanks so some more serious statement jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz, including an emerald cut diamond choker, a diamond mesh and pearl necklace and diamond straight line earrings.
Considering her new penchant for popping up at all of the most random award ceremonies, we can’t wait to see what the pop icon ends up wearing the Screen Actors Guild ceremony come January.
