After starring on The Real Housewives of New York for six seasons, there’s one thing that’s certain about Bethenny Frankel: She’s not afraid of putting it all out there. Throughout her reality-TV tenure, she ran around the city nude for Peta, peed in a bucket in her wedding dress and just this season, opened up about her naked film past. So stripping down on her Instagram story on Wednesday is just another day in Frankel’s very candid life.

After making press stops at Access Hollywood, Daily Pop, E! News, Extra and ET, she ran out of time to change before her Watch What Happens Live west coast show appearance and documented her quick change on her Instagram story, calling it the #carchangechronicles.

First, Frankel shared a snap of herself posing topless, wearing a pair of sweatpants and slides saying, “When am I not changing in the car? Can it ever just be fully glamorous?”

Once she found a top to wear, she started the process of shimmying into her sparkly “disco ball” pants.

And during her changing process she screamed, “I should have re-thought that In-and-Out burger!”

After a lot of twisting and shuffling, she made it into her outfit in the nick of time for her WWHL appearance. (And it paid off: Andy Cohen shared on his own Instagram story that he was obsessed with her pants, and wanted them for himself.)

Following the show’s afterparty, she headed to a red eye flight at 2 a.m., but not before changing in the car — again!

In another Instagram story she asked fans if they noticed anything off, before revealing that she put her sweatshirt on backwards.

“What I mean by, ‘do you notice anything off’ is should the hood be in the front or should it be in the back,” she asked on Instagram. “I’m just wondering if I made any mistakes when I got changed in the car after Andy’s afterparty after having 75 margaritas just curious.”
