Ashley Graham's Ultra-Revealing Oscars Gown Looks Like It Could Be From the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Posted on

There’s one question we’ve been asking ourselves all of 2016 thus far: Is there anything Ashley Graham can’t do? In two short months she’s landed just about every fashion campaign up for grabs, scored a coveted Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition cover, and now she’s even popping up at the biggest awards show of the season, offering up her fashion expertise as a commentator on E! News red carpet coverage.

The plus-size super model wore a form-fitting bright red custom dress from Bao Tranchi, whom you may remember as the designer behind Gigi Hadid’s daring white look at the American Music Awards.  The column gown put all of Ashley’s assets on display, featuring sheer sleeves, a slightly gathered neckline and a large diamond cutout over her chest broken up by strappy cut-outs across her breasts.

And according to Graham finally finding the perfect dress for this big night was no easy feat, she told Giuliana Rancic, “I’ve just been insanely busy I mean first of all trying to find a dress for the Oscars girls my size, these girls this size [referring to her chest], I mean it has been a whole job in itself. So I am happy tonight with my outfit.” At the rate Ashley’s going, we wouldn’t be surprised if she found herself on the red carpet next year (nominated for Best Actress?) instead of just throwing in her two cents from the sidelines.
