If David Beckham for H&M didn’t do it for you yesterday, maybe the latest news from the massive retailer will do the trick. They’ve signed on Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson to front their ad campaign for H&M Divided, a collection aimed at younger, trendy consumers that launches in stores and online today. Shot in L.A. by photographer Mariano Vivanco, the ads show Benson with tousled locks and smoky eyes, posing in a variety of cute looks from statement tees to striped crop top outfits — and of course, lots of cute accessories (like a PLL star would have anything else).
“I love to dress down and be comfortable, but I also love a good chance to get dressed up!” Benson said in the statement, which also noted that the collection is “in line with Ashley’s own personal style … laid back with a feminine twist.” Want to shop her closet? We’re told she was partial to the cross-body lips bag, above, and the high waisted skirts.
In high-fashion news, Rihanna is out as the face of Balmain, but we can’t imagine she’s too bummed — her longtime pal Cara Delevingne has been swapped in, along with a bevy of other supermodels (including Jourdan Dunn). Says creative director Olivier Rousteing (who posted this cute behind-the-scenes shot of Delevingne and Dunn), “Different girls, different backgrounds come together strong to lead the new BALMAIN ARMY.”
