She may have to cover up in court, but Amal Clooney loves to show off her passion for fashion when she’s off duty. And the lawyer’s latest looks have definitely captivated our attention. This week she’s not only been on a restaurant tour with her husband George Clooney, but she’s also been on a style parade.
Mrs. Clooney tested out one of spring’s biggest “it” trends Monday in a pair of light-washed flare jeans, which she styled with a bold leopard print Giambattista Valli coat (it’s still close to freezing in N.Y.C.) and her perfect bouncy, shiny blowout.
And her penchant for bell bottoms didn’t stop there. On Tuesday, she selected a pair of yellow-and-black chevron printed pants, teamed with a feather-embellished crop top and chic black topper (all also Giambattista Valli — he’s a a favorite of hers, plus, a source tells PEOPLE she was dining with the Italian designer at The Monkey Bar in midtown Manhattan).
Last week, the London-based attorney (who has just joined the faculty at Columbia Law School) was spotted at the N.Y.C. secondhand boutique What Goes Around Comes Around, picking up a few pieces including a Chanel knit dress, a metallic dress, and mink fur baseball cap. We’re excited to chart her spring style as the weather gets warmer.
