If you’re anything like us, you’ve been (unsuccessfully) trying to get Maroon 5’s new single, “Maps”, out of your head since the VMAs. Unfortunately, this video isn’t going to help you with that, but it does deliver some man candy in the form of frontman Adam Levine, so hopefully you’ll forgive us.
Levine gives us a peek inside the recording sessions for his band’s latest album, V (which drops today, if you’re looking for some new iTunes fodder) while wearing — what else? — pieces from his menswear line for Kmart. Levine is seen in the studio laying down vocals while wearing his favorite item from the fall collection, the tribal-print hoodie. “I love this,” he says of the top. “The prints in the fall collection are probably my favorite. I’m really happy with the colors we went with.”
Of course, now that Levine’s a married man, he’s got to think about more than just designing clothes for himself — he’s got a women’s collection (on which we’re sure new wife Behati Prinsloo gets a good discount). And he says he’s delighted to be spreading the love. “Seeing the collection expand into women’s and different product categories within the men’s line is just awesome. I think a big reason why my partnership with Kmart has been successful is because of their openness and ability to create items that I would actually want in my own closet.” Or at his recording studio, or in his wife’s dresser drawers, or …
