Rihanna is the ultimate style chameleon: She can pull off just about any look you can imagine (and plenty you never even considered) and still garner high praise from fashion’s finest. She’s hit the red carpet nearly naked, made her mark in Barbie pink and managed to make your casual Friday uniform feel couture.
Which is why it should not surprise you that Princess RiRi’s ensembles frequently remind us of those of other princesses — Disney’s — though of course, she gives each look her own unmistakable spin. You’ll see what we mean:

Rihanna as… Cinderella
During a recent trip to Disney World, where she celebrated her adorable niece Majesty’s second birthday, Rih used the trip as an opportunity to dress like a modern-day Cinderella (and to match her mini-me!), opting for a baby blue bow-embellished blouse, a sparkling choker, Minnie Mouse ear-shaped tiara and jeans.

Rihanna as… Belle
Rih loves a major red carpet risk. Case in point: Her 2015 Met Gala dress, a bright yellow creation by Chinese couture designer Guo Pei that came with a massive embroidered train. It inspired no shortage of internet memes, but when we look at it, all we can see is Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Rihanna as… Sleeping Beauty
For the 2015 Grammys, the singer dominated red carpet chatter in her voluminous a two-tiered pink confection by Giambattista Valli. The giant pink pouf immediately earned her comparisons to Barbie, a birthday cake and even a loofah, but the color and the fancy neckline seem to us like a modern take on Princess Aurora.

Rihanna as… Tinker Bell
What does one wear while frolicking through the streets of N.Y.C. on the cusp of summer? An off-the-shoulder, bright green tutu, of course! That is, if you’re Rih and can get away with wearing a Tinker Bell-inspired minidress without worrying about the reactions of passersby. She paired the fairytale-inspired frock with multi-color pom-pom-adorned sandals (just like Tink!) and a shiny Jennifer Fisher choker.

Rihanna as… Mulan
The full-sleeved, floor length gown! The hair accessory! The red lip! Though this comparison may be slightly more of a stretch, we say it’s similar enough to be “worth fighting for.” (And somehow we wouldn’t be surprised to find out that Rih had a sidekick talking dragon named Mushu in her entourage.)

Rihanna as… Maleficent
And because the star is a woman of many moods and talents, for an album art reveal event for ANTI in 2015, she proved that it’s not just the Disney Princesses that give her style inspiration: A goth-like pout plus mini twisted topknots equals Sleeping Beauty‘s evil witch Maleficent.
