And just when you thought America’s sweethearts couldn’t get any sweeter!
Final Five Team USA Gymnastics gold medalists Simone Biles and Aly Raisman took time out of their busy Kellogg’s tour schedule on Tuesday to dance with kids at New York’s Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx.
The elite gymnasts whip, nae naed and dougied with dozens of children to advocate for youth fitness —and they had a ton of fun while doing it.
“We’re role models now, so it’s important to use your platform to talk to kids and meet them,” Raisman, 22, tells PEOPLE. “It’s exciting to be able to spread the message of staying active. But also that working out doesn’t have to be by yourself in a gym, it can be fun and you can do it with your family!”
“Getting to interact with kids is our favorite part!” Biles, 19, adds.
Raisman and Biles were also at the Boys and Girls Club promoting Just Dance 2017. The game can be played using a smartphone and the Just Dance Controller app to track accuracy of dance movements
“Our dancing is sassy,” says Biles of her and Raisman.
“And that’s something that shows in our gymnastics, we both like to move our hips and be sassy,” agrees Raisman.
The gymnasts say they’re be practicing their dance moves so they can play Just Dance with their families over Thanksgiving.
“I haven’t been home that much so I’m just looking forward to spending time with my parents!” says Raisman.
“We’ve been so busy on tour, but this is seriously so much fun,” adds Biles.
