Part of the fun of Royal Ascot is waiting to see what bright color Queen Elizabeth will break out each day of the races. And in keeping with tradition, the Queen’s 2017 wardrobe has been just as boldly hued as always
For the opening day of Royal Ascot, the Queen matched the race track in a lime green coat and hat.

The British bookies were betting on a shade of blue for the fourth day of Ascot — and they were (kind of) right! She wore an aqua-colored suit and hat on Friday, when she attended without husband Prince Philip, who is taking it easy after being treated for an infection in the hospital.

For the fifth and final day of Ascot, the Queen wore a bright putple ensemble, complete with a matching hat. Sadly the Queen's horse, Dartmouth, did not win the race, but she enjoyed the event otherwise!
