So what’s in store for the royal pair when they touch down in Canada June 30? The couple will dive right into their royal duties, and they’ll take part in a wreath laying and book-signing event at the Ottawa National War Memorial at 2:35 p.m.
In the spirit of Canada Day, July 1, the newlyweds will celebrate with Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his family at Ottawa’s Parliament Hill. They’ll also stop by Montreal, Quebec City, Charlottetown and Summerside, P.E.I., Yellowknife and Calgary throughout their trip.
Perhaps the highlight of their trip will be July 4, when William and his wife will face off in a dragonboat race on Prince Edward island.
William and the duchess are set to arrive in California on July 8 for the American leg of their voyage.
