Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t hiding their relationship any longer!

The pair was spotted in public together on Wednesday evening while on a date to see a play on London’s West End, as seen in a photo obtained by The Sun. The couple saw the hit play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Gielgud Theatre, PEOPLE confirms.

Though it was no red carpet debut, the outing was Harry, 32, and Meghan’s first time out as a couple since PEOPLE confirmed in October that they’ve been dating seriously for about three months.

As seen in the photo, the royal and his 35-year-old girlfriend stayed close to one another, bundled up in beanies and coats as they took a stroll along Piccadilly and Shaftesbury Avenue.

Their theatre date comes a couple days after they were seen shopping for a Christmas tree together on Monday night at the Pines and Needles store in London.

Besides their subtle ways of expressing their romance with personalized jewelry and matching bracelets, the two have been spending lots of time together as of late. “He is very serious about her,” a source recently told PEOPLE.

The Los Angeles-born actress traveled to London a week after Harry made a major detour following his two-week tour of the Caribbean to see her in Canada instead of jetting back to Britain last week.

As for spending their first Christmas together, sources shared to PEOPLE that it is doubtful that the couple will be attending any royal holiday celebrations with Harry’s 90-year-old grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. “I very much doubt she will be there,” a close insider told PEOPLE. At the same time, “if Harry asks [his grandmother] for something, she would say yes as she adores him.”
