Stranded at sea!
Prince Harry experienced his own Thanksgiving weekend travel headache when the Navy ship he’s been traveling in during his tour of the Caribbean broke down, leaving him stranded.
The naval tanker, where he has spent most of his nights during his two-week tour around the islands, was due to leave the island of St. Vincent on Saturday night and was to spend the evening moored offshore. However, RFA Wave Knight, would not start.
Due to what his office at Kensington Palace called “a technical problem, RFA Wave Knight was unable to leave St. Vincent as planned.”
So the prince and members of his royal party got to enjoy some down time on one of the nearby islands, as engineers worked around the clock to fix the ship’s technical issues. The efforts proved successful as Harry boarded the ship early on Monday to continue his journey to Grenada.
Harry and his tour party arrived on schedule by speedboat to begin the second half of the royal tour, which he is undertaking on behalf of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
While Harry dealt with travel troubles, his girlfriend Meghan Markle enjoyed festive holiday fun with friends in L.A.
And the Suits star is already getting into the Christmas spirit — the actress is all smiles in a photo she posted of a tree-trimming party with close friends.
