It’s Christmastime at Clarence House!
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, got in the holiday spirit on Wednesday when she welcomed a group of children from Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, an organization working to improve the lives of seriously ill kids in the U.K. The royal wore a Christmas-ready green dress for the occasion, coordinating perfectly with the tree’s red-and-white decorations and garland.
The guests of honor had the chance to hang ornaments and string garland on the tree at Clarence House and have lunch with Camilla at her London home.
The afternoon was also hosted in part by Helen & Douglas House, a children’s hospice for which Camilla serves as patron. Working with the charity, 2016 is the eighth year that Camilla has opened up Clarence House’s doors to the young visitors for tree trimming and lunch — including stocking-shaped gingerbread cookies.
It’s a happy holiday season at Clarence House!
