Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall shared a powerful moment with a young girl at the newly opened Al Jalila Children’s Speciality Hospital in Dubai on Tuesday.
The royal told reporters she was “amazed and inspired” by the new facilities and the brave young patients.
“It is a very good facility, it is brilliant,” she said upon arrival.
Camilla toured the hospital before meeting with children in the facility.
Camilla was particularly moved by Noora Fahad Fayez Mubarak, who has kidney failure. The young girl couldn’t stop smiling during the royal visit.
“What a lovely smile you have,” Camilla said.
After hearing that Noora was in need of a kidney transplant, she told her parents: “I hope she will be able to have it soon.”
