What to do when your ex is in the club and you want to act like you just don’t care? If you’re Lindsay Lohan and Wilmer Valderrama, who separately hit New York City hot spot Suede recently, you dance around the issue – literally. “Lindsay got there, had her energy drink, and all of a sudden they started glaring at each other. And they get up and start dancing,” a source at the club tells us. “Then they were dancing on top of the banquettes, and then Wilmer does this almost Michael Jackson impression on the dance floor! It was like a scene out of a comedy movie. It was really, really funny.”
Also witness to the dance-off: ‘N Sync-ers Joey Fatone and JC Chasez, and Pamela Anderson and her beau Stephen Dorff. “The two of them would glance at each other, and then dance harder. The whole crowd was just staring at them. Even Pam Anderson and Stephen Dorff were like, ‘Are these people kidding?’ ” says the source. But it was no joke. “They did not say a word to each other the whole night.”
Hey, Big Spender
Everybody Loves Raymond star Patricia Heaton spent big money for a good cause at the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance’s 4th Annual Comedy for a Cure in Hollywood. At the event, cohosted by Teri Hatcher and Calista Flockhart, Heaton paid $13,000 for an eight-day trip to England, including two nights at Bovey Castle, owned by British entrepreneur Peter de Savary (who formerly owned Scotland’s Skibo Castle, where Madonna and Guy Ritchie tied the knot in 2001). The actress also bought a guitar signed by singer Jackson Browne for $8,000. The proceeds of the auction benefited research for the genetic disorder that causes tumors in vital organs. “I think as a mom, your number one thing is to keep your child safe and healthy,” Hatcher told us about her involvement with the event. “You hear about so many tragedies of children around the world. You just can’t imagine that happening to your child.”
