Taking a breather from promoting her movie Monster-in-Law, Jennifer Lopez headed to Florida, one of her favorite places to recharge. (She bought an 11-bedroom mansion in Miami Beach three years ago and sold it last month for $14 million.) First order of business: some retail therapy at Bal Harbour Shops, an upscale outdoor mall in Bal Harbour, Fla., where she picked up items at Neiman Marcus and Intermix.

Next, she and husband Marc Anthony headed to dinner at The Forge in Miami Beach. They arrived holding hands, Lopez wearing a white dress with silver straps and her hair in a bun, and joined about eight pals in the restaurant’s Wine Room. While they dined on salad and yellow-tail snapper (for Lopez) and barbecued ribs (for Anthony), the restaurant’s DJ played songs by both singers. After dinner, the group hit the adjoining nightclub, Jimmy’z at The Forge, where they danced to beats spun by DJ Roberto Costa.

Survivor Lessons
As the last tribal council approaches on Survivor: Palau (the show’s finale airs Sunday), host Jeff Probst told us what he’s learned in his 10 seasons on the reality show. Ironically, seeing all the backstabbing among contestants has made Probst – who dates Survivor: Vanuatu finalist Julie Berry – “value my word more than I ever did before,” he says. “Because I’ve seen so many people look others in the eye and swear they’re friends for life and then cut their throat the minute that person walks away, I’ve actually come to treasure integrity more than ever.”

But Probst has brought back more than life lessons to his L.A. home. “I’ve collected artifacts from all the different locations – from Africa and the Pearl Islands and Palau,” he says. “In the summertime, I’ve got fire everywhere and I’ve got a big fountain with water cascading down. It really is tribal council-esque. We had a party one night and somebody said, ‘All we’re missing is a couple of pieces of parchment and we could vote someone off.’ ”

Caught in the Act
Alicia Keys, enjoying a manicure, pedicure and hot stone massage at the bluemercury spa at the The Quarter in the Atlantic City Tropicana hotel and casino. The singer, who treated her mother to an in-suite massage, was in the New Jersey shore town for several concerts.

Joaquin Phoenix, dining on organic fare at the Newsroom Café in Los Angeles. The actor ate his meal on the restaurant’s outdoor patio with two male friends.

Chris Rock, visiting the Children’s Museum of Manhattan with wife Malaak and daughters Lola and Zahra. The comedian and his family checked out the Dora the Explorer and Dr. Seuss exhibits, among others.
