Eva Longoria thought she’d gone incognito during a recent shopping spree in San Antonio, but the Desperate Housewife’s oversized Gucci sunglasses couldn’t mask her identity. “She was so little that the glasses were almost bigger than she was,” says an observer, who spied the actress at the Bebe boutique at the upscale Shops at La Cantera.

If that wasn’t enough, when Longoria – who was in town visiting boyfriend Tony Parker – reached the register, she pulled out a black American Express card for her purchases (a $98 white pencil skirt and $58 yellow mesh polo shirt). “The card was a dead giveaway that someone important was dropping some dough,” says the source. “The credit limit on those cards is ridiculously high.” Maybe try a hat next time, Eva?

Simon’s Last Nerve

Want a surefire way to get on Simon Cowell‘s nerves? Play him the Alicia Keys hit “Fallin’.” “I never want to hear that song again in my life. I cannot stand it,” he says. Nothing personal, Alicia, it’s just that he’s heard it too many times. “I’m allergic to it.”

And don’t even get him started on his fellow judges, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. Cowell once got so irritated by them that he got up and left during an audition. “(Paula and Randy) were annoying me – just being obnoxious. I got to the point where I said, ‘I can’t sit next to you anymore,'” he says. “(I was like), ‘Do it yourself.'”

Caught in the Act

Lance Armstrong (right), eating with eight male friends at Spago in Las Vegas. The group dined on a seven-course meal and drank four bottles of wine, and then partied the night away at Pure nightclub.

Claire Danes, wearing army green pants and a frilly tank top and chatting on her cell phone in the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel in L.A.

Kirsten Dunst, hanging out at Amanda Scheer Demme’s club Teddy’s in Hollywood. Also there that night: Courtney Love, Matthew Perry and Jack Osbourne.
