Boy band fans, rejoice: Rumors of an imminent ‘NSync reunion appear to be true. “I’m sure we will,” Joey Fatone told Daily Insider at the recent CD release party for bandmate JC Chasez’s solo effort, Schizophrenic, at New York hotspot Marquee. “It’s odd to say, you may not believe it, but yeah, we are. Everybody’s doing their own thing right now – JC has his CD, (Justin Timberlake is) shooting a movie – but we do want to get together.” ‘NSync-er Lance Bass concurs. “We’re waiting for Justin to finish his movie and then we’ll get back to the studio,” says the former aspiring cosmonaut. “We’ll have a new album by 2005 – at least, that’s my opinion.”

Country star LeAnn Rimes made a surprise visit to the Hard Rock Cafe in Washington, D.C., recently, dropping in on a group of 50 kids who have been treated at hospitals supported by the nonprofit Children’s Miracle Network. “I have been looking forward to this for about a year now. I’m so excited to finally join the family,” the 21-year-old singer told the cheering crowd. Rimes, who will be a spokesperson for the organization (which raises funds for children’s hospitals), spent more than an hour giving hugs and posing for photos with the kids. “This is all about the children for me – what they’ve gone through and what they’ve overcome,” she told us. “It’s fun for me to do stuff like this. And it’s a little sense of reality, honestly, to see what these parents have to deal with and cope with, with their children being ill.” Rimes began working with kids six years ago at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, which now has a rehabilitation center named for her.

From what Pat O’Brien says, the outtakes on Access Hollywood are worthy of another show – America’s Funniest Home Videos. “I went up to John Leguizamo one time and said, ‘John, you were great in Traffic.‘ And he said, ‘But I wasn’t in Traffic.‘ So I said, ‘Well, that’s how great you are that you should have been in Traffic,‘ ” he told us. “When you’re on the air interviewing every celebrity every day of the week, you’re going to make mistakes.”
