And when the actor tried to give pointers to his 8-year-old son and costar Jaden, Muccino stopped him in his tracks: ” ‘Will, your performance isn’t even good yet. Worry about you. Let me worry about Jaden.’ ” Ouch. Also celebrating with the Family Smith: Eva Mendes, Thandie Newton and former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air costar Alfonso Ribeiro.

The catwalker volunteered on behalf of Free Arts NYC, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing the arts to at-risk kids and their families. The singer hosted former 98 Degrees bandmate Justin Jeffree and a few pals in a private room, where he ordered a $90 bottle of Domaine Drouhin Laurène 2002 Pinot Noir and feasted on a 12-oz. filet mignon. The restaurant is a hometown favorite for the singer, says owner Jeff Ruby: “Nick used to date my daughter. I actually introduced them when he was with 98 Degrees. He’s a good friend and a good kid.” And he proved it – he picked up the entire tab for dinner.

Luke Wilson, shopping at Old Navy in Shreveport, La. He buzzed around the store for 15 minutes before settling on a fleece pullover – and taking time to pose for a picture with an employee. “He was nice, not what you think of for some Hollywood actor,” the employee says. “Very nice guy.” Wilson, who’s in town to shoot the comedy Blonde Ambition with Jessica Simpson, has also hit the city’s nightlife scene: The duo stopped in to local hot spot Phoenix Underground last week.
