Donald Trump‘s Walk of Fame star may have just been destroyed, but one Hollywood name is sticking by him.

Speaking to Extra on Tuesday night in New York City, Teresa Giudice defended the GOP nominee against the numerous allegations of sexual assault he’s received in recent weeks.

“I mean, I don’t understand, why come out with it now?” said The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 44. “Why didn’t they come out with it when it happened?”

“If a man touched me, I would come out with it right away,” she added. “I wouldn’t wait till he was trying to be president and then come out with it. When people come out [saying that], they only want their 15 minutes of fame.”

Giudice, who was a contestant on season 5 of Celebrity Apprentice in 2012, said Trump, who was host at the time, was “nothing but a gentleman” throughout her experience with him.

Despite her supportive stance, Giudice didn’t make it clear whether Trump, 70, or Hillary Clinton, 69, had secured her vote.

“I think they’re both great,” she said. “May the best person win.”

And though Giudice previously stated that she would “of course” be voting for Trump during a Watch What Happens Live appearance in February (“I think he’ll make a great president.”), her lawyer James J. Leonard, Jr., exclusively tells PEOPLE now that her support is only nominal.

“While Teresa enjoyed her time on Celebrity Apprentice and respects Mr. Trump’s business acumen, she remains undecided on who she would support for President if she were able to vote, which unfortunately she can not do while she remains on supervised release,” states Leonard.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
