White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer got a surprise visitor during Wednesday’s press briefing – and he was ready to be put to work.

New England Patriots tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski snuck in to the side of Spicer’s podium, interrupting the press secretary to ask, “Sean, need some help?”

Chuckling, Spicer responded, “I think I got this but thank you.”

The 27-year-old double-checked, joking, “You sure?” before leaving the room and the laughing reporters behind.

Admitted Spicer of the pop-in, “All right, that was cool.”

Gronkowski was at the White House with many of the Patriots, who were visiting to celebrate their Super Bowl LI win. (Tom Brady and other players pulled out of the visit.)

His offer of aide for Spicer comes after the press secretary made inaccurate comments about Adolf Hitler during a recent briefing. Spicer apologized for his statements the next day.

The athlete is known for his hilarious antics – earlier this month he jumped in the ring at WrestleMania, then he made off with teammate Tom Brady’s jersey during the Red Sox opening day game.
