Mark Ruffalo, Debra Messing and more stars lashed out at House Republicans on Twitter on Thursday after they passed a controversial bill to repeal Obamacare that could leave millions of Americans uninsured.
“Because rich people need tax breaks,” Ruffalo tweeted along with a link to an article about the bill’s passage in the House. “Sick.”
Messing, meanwhile, was busy retweeting the names of all of California’s GOP House members who voted to pass the Republican health care bill. “Say these names like Arya Stark,” read one of her retweets.
The actress also retweeted a list of 20 House Republicans who voted “no” to the bill. “THANK THESE GOP House members who put their constituents FIRST,” she wrote, adding two clapping emojis.

Actress Alyssa Milano also shared a list of California Republicans who voted for the bill, adding the hashtag: #votethemout. She urged followers in several other states to attend upcoming town halls held by congressmen who voted for the bill.

She also retweeted another critic who said, “Very smart for the Republicans to tie their futures to a bill almost no one likes just to appease the most unpopular president ever.”
