A dog buried alive by rubble following a 6.6 magnitude earthquake in Italy was saved by rescuers on Monday, and it was all captured on video.

According to WABC, the footage released by Italian firefighters shows a rescuer spotting the paw of the pooch and discovering his head a moment later.

It takes a lot of digging but the trapped pup is saved by the rescuers and offered some water later, which the lucky dog happily drinks.

CNN reports that no lives were lost in the quake, although 20 people were injured. Much of the Basilica of San Benedetto in Norcia, where the dog was found, has been destroyed.
