When Tillman walks down the street, everybody takes notice – even been-there, seen-that celebrities. The legendary skateboarding bulldog was in New York City for the first time to check out the asphalt and break some new world records at Citi Field’s Bark in the Park. On his way over to Times Square, 4-year-old Tillman and his 10-person entourage (including a driver named Chubby!) ran into John Legend and his English bulldog, Puddy.

Tillman had to weave his way through the crowds like lots of other New Yorkers – on foot – but passers-by couldn’t help but notice they were next to the world’s fastest skateboarding dog. Many stopped to take pictures; one pulled out a newspaper clipping of a story about Tillman. It’s rough being famous. But when you’re a dog that skates, snowboards, surfs and stars in a video with 11 million YouTube views, it comes with the territory.

Check out our video of Tillman’s visit to N.Y.C., including his awesome skate through Times Square!
