Little did the Baha Men know, but sometimes the dogs let themselves out.

A hole in the fence, a darting squirrel, a scary thunderstorm. There are many factors that can cause a canine to go missing.

Business Insider asked Whistle — a company dedicated to making GPS collars for dogs — for its numbers on which dogs are the best escape artists. Whistle pulled data from over 150,000 dogs using their GPS collars and found some definite trends.

Of course, there are some exceptions to the information below. The data provided by Whistle does not contain information for dogs under the weight of 10 pounds, since the GPS collar is often too cumbersome for them to wear. Additionally, the function that tracks lost dogs can also be used recreationally to track hikes if an owner chooses.

With that in mind, here are the top 15 breeds that you might want to keep an extra eye on.
