We’re sure baby North West is adorable, but we only have eyes for this newborn tapir (no offense, Kim and Kanye).

Days after Boston’s Franklin Park Zoo welcomed the new addition on June 18, Abby, the 9-year-old mommy tapir, can’t help but act a bit “nosy” around her new baby girl. And she’s not the only one.

“The baby has been nursing, walking and following its mother, which are all very good signs,” said Dr. Eric Baitchman, Zoo New England director of veterinary services. “As with any new birth, we are carefully monitoring the health of the new calf and the mother.”

Baird’s tapirs are native to Central America, but there aren’t many left of this endangered species, especially females, says the Franklin Park Zoo.

Although Abby had 13 months of pregnancy to mull over a name that could compete with North, the mama tapir (or, more likely, the zoo) has yet to decide on one.

Our bet is on “Tapioca the Tapir.” She certainly has spots like some!
