White House

This is going to be tough for us to talk about.

The sad reality that soon First dogs Bo and Sunny will be packing their bags and leaving the White House forever.

We woke up this morning in a panic at the thought of NO MORE ADORABLE DOG PHOTOS on the White House Instagram feed, or unfollowing chief official White House photographer Pete Souza, who we consider an old friend even though we’ve never met him.

Photos of the pooches exploring, getting belly rubs and just being dogs have changed our lives forever and we’re savoring every last one, including these posted in recent weeks. Today, 46 full days before election day, you should too.

“Besties” like these will be hard to find again, no matter who is elected.

Besties.

Eight years on camera duty in the White House have taught Souza many things, including the all-important: “let sleeping dogs lie.”

Let sleeping dogs lie.

Meeting a President AND two fluffy dogs IN the WHITE HOUSE? It’s the end, sniff, of an era.

Bo swims in a sea of snow in this re-gram … we drown in a puddle of tears.
