Three-pound therapy dog Norbert gives everyone a reason to smile, even those who might find it hard to see the bright side at times.
In his contest quest to make the world a better place, Norbert the rescue pup recently orchestrated a trip for his 6-year-old buddy Ethan from Spokane, Washington, to Los Angeles for some super precious one-on-one time.
Ethan has a rare neurological disease known as Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease. His type, 4J, is incredibly rare. CMT4J begins in infancy and rapidly progresses, degenerating neuropathy in a way similar to Lou Gehrig's Disease. Like ALS, there is currently no known cure.

Norbert and his mom Julie were quick to respond, planning the L.A. getaway for Ethan and his family with help from The Hallmark Channel.
