Move over, Zhu Zhu Pets. Nice knowing you, Webkinz. There are some new animal toys in town! Introducing Mix Pups, a line of plastic mix-and-match dogs with detachable legs, heads, hairpieces and clothing that make dressing pups a little less … furry.

Okay, so no, they’re not toys for dogs. But Roxy the Chihuahua, Annie the bulldog and Lucy the Dalmatian could be great starter pets for kiddos who don’t have a real live furry friend just yet. Or just another tool to let imaginations grow.

Each Mix Pup ($5.99) comes with one dog, four accessories and a little doggie bed. And ingeniously, the more Mix Pups you buy, the more accessories you accumulate and the more crazy outfit combinations your pup can wear. There are also double packs ($9.99) with two dogs and twice the accessories, and accessory packs ($4.99) with themed toys like towels and beach chairs or water bottles and soccer balls.

When your Mix Pups are really ready to go, send them for a ride in the Pawty Van ($19.99) which comes complete with a gift box, cake and balloons, or for a trip to the Fancy Paws Day Spa ($24.99) where budding groomers can glam up their pets using (fake) brushes, sponges, nail polish and more. It’s like enrolling your little one in puppy pampering school!
