George Clooney Proves Chivalry Isn’t Dead By Carrying His Rescue Dog Up the Stairs

Updated

Pacific Coast News

George Clooney is a gentleman to all species.

The actor, 55, was recently spotted on the Los Angeles set of his upcoming movie Suburbicon with his rescue dog Millie in tow.

Apparently the 5-year-old Bassett hound had some trouble navigating the steps up to Clooney’s trailer, according to Vanity Fair.

So in a moment that greatly resembled the daydreams we had about E.R.-era Clooney, he swept the dog off her feet and dotingly carried her to the threshold. Swoon.

Clooney and wife Amal adopted Millie almost one year ago from the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society. Before arriving at the shelter, the rescue pup was found scrounging for food scraps on the streets.

Obviously, life with Clooney has been a big step up.
