We’re big fans of pugs here at We’ve seen a man propose with the help of 16 pugs, pugs perform Oscar-nominated movie scenes and we’ve watched a pug retell the story of Home Alone.

So you can imagine how excited we were when we saw two pugs get married in a romantic ceremony, complete with a tux, dress, red carpet, officiant, guests and sentimental pug vows. Grab a tissue for this one!

“My wonderful, beautiful Betty, I want to bark from the rooftops and tell all of our canine friends and humans how much you mean to me,” a male human reads on behalf of the groom. “You’re my Bonnie and I’m you’re Clyde. Together we can get into so much mischief I love sharing our bed together and I don’t mind when you have a little accident and pee pee on me.”

He also vows to “share all my toys, bones, bed with you. I will sit with you to eat before I do.”

The bride then shares her own tear-jerking vows for her groom.

“My sweet darling Albert, I stand on my four legs before you and our guests to tell you how much you mean to me,” reads a female human on behalf of the bride. “I love the way you protect and constantly watch out for me.”

“As we go forward and our eight paws become four, there is one thing I must say,” she continues. “Just because you are going to be my husband does not mean I have to share my toys. They’re mine. I might lend them to you but you have to give them back. But what’s yours is mine, right? So let’s start our lives paw-in-paw and have a long and happy life together.”

Congrats to the happy couple!
